Morihei Hishiboshi Karasu Whetstone #9000
Morihei Hishiboshi Karasu Whetstone #9000
Might take 1 - 2 weeks to ship out.
Morihei Hishiboshi 9000 grit whetstone is made by Morihei in Tokyo and is a special formula only by him. Using a mixture of synthetic and natural stone powder this stone leaves a very nice kasumi finish with great contrast. This stone can be used as a splash and go stone and does not require soaking. Ive found the edge to feel refined but still retains nice bite. Cuts very fast and produces slurry quickly without being an overly soft stone.

This is a great hybrid stone not just for razors but for both stainless and carbon steel knives. Out of the box, the slurry is a little slow to work up but after a while it generates a nice mud - not a lot but enough to make the sharpening a joy. Wow! What a nice stone is all I can say!
I’m satisfied with the purchase.
I recently bought a Morihei Hishiboshi 9000# stone. Really nice polish stone. I use it on my Japanese woodworking tools(plane blades and chisel blades). Very easy stone to use with excellent results! I highly recommend this stone!!
Than you Chris! Hope you enjoying sharpening!
