It's exactly as described. I gave it to my son for a Christmas present. He was very excited to receive this gift.
I was very happy that the shipping time was way shorter then I anticipated.. This allowed me to give it to him Christmas day .
I was so excited to get this knife as the history and craftsmanship behind it are wonderfully fascinating. The knife came sharp, but I chose to continue refining the edge until I had a near perfect mirror’s edge. The knife is sharp enough to shave, and while I’d love to use it, I prefer to keep this as an heirloom.
