I chose the 150 petty knife for the compact size as my hands are smaller and had been getting fatigued with a western style 8in chef knife. First, the Japanese handle is sooo comfortable to grasp and the sharpness of the blade really glides through vegetable prep now easing any strain I had in my hand.
